Our next chapter tasting will [tentatively] be Friday,
March 23rd, 2012 at Total Wine Boca Park at 6:30 pm

We will meet at the Total Wine store in Summerlin's Boca Park shopping center.  Address is: 730 S. Rampart Blvd., about 1/4 mile south of Summerlin Parkway. Watch this space for program details. Appetizers are welcome.  We will have a door prize and raffle drawing.  The Total Wine store will provide glassware and will handle the clean-up. All Las Vegas area AWS members are welcome.  Non-AWS members may attend as guests up to 3 times.  The fee for this tasting will be $8 per person, payable to the Treasurer in the classroom.  Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 21st to Tom Burt, tomburt89134@cox.net.

Is your membership renewed for 2012?

If you haven't yet renewed your AWS membership for 2012, there's still time - but not much. We have an exciting year ahead of us for AWS and want all of you to be a part of it with us. The Membership rate has stayed the same for 2012 at $62.00 per household (two people at the same address) or $49.00 per individual.  There are other membership options so please chose the one that works best for you.

For accuracy and efficiency we recommend renewing online at: www.americanwinesociety.org. You will need your login ID and password in order to do this. If you do not remember what these are, e-mail Dianne Chappell (diane@americanwinesociety.org) and she will reset it for you.  You can also call the National Office at 888-297-9070 to renew by phone, or you may send a check to AWS, PO Box 279, Englewood, OH 45322. For your convenience, we have provided a printable 2012 renewal form for you to use to renew your dues.

For those who already renewed...thanks!  2012 Membership cards along with the 2012 Vintage Chart, Avis discount card, FedEx Office discount card, and 2012 plates for our Professional Members plaques will be mailed in a couple weeks.
